University Sports Board

The Sports Board of Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, carries out all sports related activities of 82 affiliated colleges in addition with university main campus and all the constitute colleges of our university. The Sports Board acting with Dr.J.Raja, The Registrar of AUT-T, as the Board Chairman, Deputy Director of Physical Education as Board Secretary also associate with two Assistant Director of Physical Education coordinates the Zonal / Inter Zonal Tournaments and participation like South zone / All India Inter University Tournaments.

The University Sports Board extends financial support to organize and participate in Zonal and Inter-zonal tournament to affiliated colleges. So far 18 Zonal Tournament in each of the 4 zones and 36 Inter zonal Tournaments have been organized at various venue. Ably assisted by 8 staff members, the Department monitors the conduct of tournaments and also selection process for the Inter- university sports activities.
