Keywords: In this project the excess unconsumed food will be processed and made as consumable food for animals and also as bio-fertilizers.
Description: This project aims at recycling waste food. It helps to avoid food shortage and polluting soil. It is formed as waste food recycler and it can be functioned as manual or semi – automatic machine. Waste food is collected and poured into the machine for grinding and sent to dryer separate devices are fixed in the machine for both grinding and drying. By doing this, odor and polluted waste particles are excreted from the waste food. Both bacteria and virus are also destroyed completed from it. This refined waste food might be used as natural mixture bio – fertilizer or the food feed to animals. After the consultation of THE CENTERAL FOOD TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE (CFTRI).It can be changed into edible food for human beings.
Cost of the project: Rs. 1500 for model and Rs. 20000 for real time implementation

Description: Radiator is a type of heat exchanger. It is used to transfer heat to improve the heat engine efficiency. Coolant flows from inlet to the outlet through many tubes. Normally water is used as a coolant. In this project water is replaced by Al2O3 water based nanofluids in order to improve the efficiency of radiator and also radiator size can be reduced to greater extent. Nanofluids can be utilized to develop stable suspension with enhanced flow, heat transfer and other characteristics.

Keywords: In this project, it helps to intimate the fisherman before crossing the boundary. Hence we can save their life.
Description: To help fishermen avoid crossing international boundary line and to enhance the communication between the fishermen and navy. We know that every place in the world is marked interims of latitude and longitude values in a GPS device and hence the international boundary line is a series of latitude and longitude values. We have to set the values of INBL line as default value in GPS tracker. Fixing a GPS device and a GSM device in fishermen’s boat and tracking the GPS device through a GPS tracker we will be able locate the fishermen’s current position and when the value matches the default value automatically a voice message can be sent to the GSM receiver and hence the fishermen will know his current status and with the help of GSM he can communicate when needs help. We can avoid the fishermen crossing international boundary line. We can inform during emergency conditions. They can ask for help when they are in need of help.
Cost of the project: Rs. 4000 for model
Other information: This Model exhibited in AUTT Main Campus and Pattukottai Campus. We won the First place and received cash prize Rs.20000 at AUTT Main Campus. This Proposal is also submitted to TAMILNADU STATE COUNCIL FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, DOTE Campus, Chennai - 600 025

Keywords: In this project, water wastage should be avoided and also harvest should be increased.
Description:Now-a-days electrical power generation reduced gradually, because of fuel available is nearly in empty condition. So we are going to another form of energy namely “Non conventional sources of energy”. This project is based on the solar energy.Sun lights are available freely in nature, so it is the cheapest source of power generation. This project consists of solar panel, PN junction diode, storage battery, switch, DC pump and hose. Sun light fall’s on the solar panel and it is converted into electrical energy stored in the battery. Pump is fitted in the well and terminals are connected to the battery terminals through a switch. Discharge port of pump is connected to lengthen hose which consists of small holes with equal distance according to distance between the plants. While make switch on position the pump should be operated. It lifts the well water to ground level. This water is supplied to plants in the form of drops continuously. Due to this project water wastage should be avoided and also harvest should be increased.
Cost of the project: Rs. 10000 for Real time execution and 4000 for Working Model

Description:Roof vegetation effect on the entire city’s building could save $120 million each year in energy cost. The insulating effect regulates temperature. Rooftop vegetation helps reduce noise levels. Even a thin layer as little as 5cm provides effective insulation. Mixture of peat and sedum or of sedum, herbs and grass work well. Capture harmful particle and plant on roofs binds carbon-di-oxide.Also protecting the underlying construction materials from ultraviolet light and temperature swings that can reduce lifespan

Working Model
Keywords: Measuring height and distance.
Description:Trigonometric ratios are very useful in solving problems on heights and distance. Many times we are required to find the distance between two objects and to find the height of a buildings, tree, tower distance of a ship from a light house, width of a river etc. Though we cannot measure them easily we can determine those by using trigonometric ratios. The problem of finding heights and distances is solved by observations of angles subtended by those objects at the eye of the observer. If the object is above the horizontal level from the eye we have to lift up our head to view the object. In the process our eyes move through an angle. This angle is called the angle of elevation. When laser light is launched at particular height for measuring the height of a particular object, the angle should be calculated through protector. Then the distance between the observer’s view and the object is to be calculated and the value of tan can be found out. We can be able to find the height of the tower, using trigonometric ratios. So in a right angled triangle if one side and one angle are known we can find the remaining sides of the triangle

Keywords: To convert organic waste into good manure which can be used as natural fertilizers. The outlet gas from the furnace is purified to reduce global warming.
Description:The organic waste (foods and leaves) are dried and charged into the furnace. They’re ignited using flammable oil. Once ignited there is no need to add further more fuel to the furnace. The air is blown from the bottom of the furnace to keep it burning. The organic waste is half burnt by the furnace. During this process, gases like N2O,CO,SO2,CO2 gets exhausted. Minerals like phosphorous gets deposited on the half burnt material. The exhaust gases are blown away from the furnace by using a high power blower. The outlet exhaust gas from the furnace has more carbon. So it is let into deep soil. The carbon particles from the exhaust gases gets deposited on the land surface. The other gases comes out of the bore surfaces through an outlet hole. The exhaust gases are sucked out using suction motor and are passed onto a Chamber containing activated charcoal. The activated carbon adsorbs the pollutants such as N2O,CO,SO2. Only CO2 gas flows out of this chamber without getting adsorbed

Description:The basic aim of the work is to minimize the queue at electricity billing counters. The aim also aims at proposing a system that will reduce the power thefts and other illegal activities. The system proposed by us involves a wireless method to transfer the data to the customer from the EB office. Old analogue meter reading is replaced by a digital one this keeps on updating frequently the amount of power consumed in the house in the display this detail is then updated daily to the EB office using the radio frequency or mobile communication

Keywords: Restricting electric shock.
Description:We are using T.V, radio, cell phone, grinder, etc., for more electronic devices daily used. Some time that electronic device was making a shock. Why those electronic devices make a shock? At home, we are use 220-240voltage only. Some time voltage above 240volt, so that time the electronic devices make a shock. Normal wire we are use to make a housing wire. We are already use fuse and earth connection to control the electric shock. But couldn’t its complete avoid the shock. A fuse wire melts that passed the high voltage, its take some time; so that time was make a shock. How to avoid the electric shock? A big company, industrial those are used UG (under-ground) cable, because those are used above 4000voltage. That UG cable capacity was 4-7kg. UG purpose any high voltage passed the cable its convert low voltage. Any change of the passed voltage its power off the main circuit. At home we are use max 240voltage so we use the UG cable capacity 1.5kg.
