Centre for Research, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli is planning to focus on the technologies which will be beneficial to the society and to advance the state of the art research in many science and engineering disciplines.  It will act like a nodal centre for applied research.  In this centre, innovation is envisaged as culture.  It offers M.S. and Ph.D. programmes for the enlightenment of teachers and industrialists to the next level of knowledge.
